Klackle's Apple Orchard

That weekend was really a great one - earlier in the day, we went to an apple orchard on our church retreat, ate some deeeeelicious donuts, spent time with our group of friends, all anticipating the evening's events (my sister's engagement). Except Amy, of course, she was not anticipating anything. :)

I got to hide in the woods and take pictures when my sister got engaged. Probably the most awesome photography assignment I've had, maybe will ever have. :) Here are a couple from just after that moment.

My camera is broken so I'm only working with my little point-and-shoot...disappointing, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how this one turned out! It was too shiny to see the screen, too, so it was a nice exercise in trust! :)

June 27 - a beautiful wedding day at the beach. This was a very fun day, shooting a friend's wedding and reception...and we got some pretty good shots out of it. :)
